The work by Dalmira Tilepbergen «Gift» will be screened within the program «Day of National Cinema of Kyrgyzstan». The film reveals family traditions through the story of seven-year-old Arno, who strives to live up to her father’s expectations.
The organizer of the film festival was AITYSH France Association with the support of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in France. The main goal of the event is to preserve and popularize the film heritage.
The idea for its creation arose during the first meeting of Ambassador Sadyk Sher-Niyaz with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay, who expressed her willingness to support the festival aimed at preserving cultural values through cinema. In 2023, the First Lady of the Kyrgyz Republic Aigul Japarova attended the opening ceremony of the first Cinema Heritage Film Festival.
