Issues of Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation in the field of disaster risk reduction have been discussed at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the ministry reported.

The parties discussed issues of assistance in approval of the project with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies «Development of capacity for timely response to emergencies at the local level in the Kyrgyz Republic», as well as assistance in the form of supply of firefighting equipment.
