Financial police officers, together with border guards, prevented an attempt to smuggle mobile phones for 25 million soms from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan. Press service of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes of Kyrgyzstan reported today.

«A Lexus GX470 car was stopped at Ak-Tilek-Avtodorozhniy checkpoint. Officers of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes and border guards found expensive cell phones and accessories for them, the total cost of which exceeds 25 million soms, during examination of the vehicle,» the state service said.

The illegal cargo was seized and sealed. A criminal case was opened on the fact of smuggling.
