Athletes from Kyrgyzstan won two medals on the first day of the World Sambo Championship. Sambo.ru website reports.

The athletes competed yesterday in ten weight categories among juniors.

As a result, the national team of Kyrgyzstan won two medals: Zhusup Shakirov (juniors, 57 kilograms) won bronze, and Felix Ulanbekov (juniors, 68 kilograms) won silver, who lost to a Russian Ivan Agafonov in the final.

The World Sambo Championship among adults, youth, juniors and in combat sambo is held in Serbia (Novi Sad) from November 5 to November 8.
