The Supervisory Board of the Public TV and Radio Broadcasting Corporation has elected its chairman.

According to the voting results, Kubat Bolotkanov became the new head of the Supervisory Board. In 2015, he served as Deputy Director of OTRK.

Timur Alkhozhoev and Kubat Bolotkanov were nominated as candidates for the post of chairman.

A competition was announced earlier for the position of General Director of the country’s main television channel. The deadline for submitting documents expires at 17.00 on November 18.
