Government of Kyrgyzstan has no money to open state pharmacy

The Government of Kyrgyzstan has no money to open a state-owned pharmacy. Minister of Health of the republic, Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, announced at a meeting of the Parliament at Ala-Archa state residence.

According to him, it is necessary to prepare a regulatory framework to open a state pharmacy.

«Besides, huge sum of money is needed. I think the state does not have such funds now,» he said.

The minister promised that the issue would be considered again and an estimate would be drawn up to create a social pharmacy.

Recall, volunteers suggested to open a state pharmacy to support the population during the pandemic.
