Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 48 million people globally
The number of people infected with novel coronavirus has grown by 686,072 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 48,034,287 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (9,480,242), India (8,313,876), Brazil (5,590,025), Russia (1,680,579), Argentina (1,205,928), Colombia (1,108,086), Mexico (943,630), Spain (1,284,408), France (1,591,152) and Great Britain (1,102,305).
Coronavirus cases have been reported in 190 countries.
As of today, the number of people who recovered from coronavirus exceeds 31,800,000. The figure grew by 279,748 people for 24 hours.
At least 1,224,415 people died from the virus (growth by 11,571 people for 24 hours), including 233,663 people — in the USA, 161,106— in Brazil, 123,611— in India, 47,832— in the UK, and 93,228— in Mexico.
At least 61,309 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 114,235 cases — in Kazakhstan, 67,779— in Uzbekistan, 11,180 — in Tajikistan.
