At least 144 medical workers infected with COVID-19 have received promised compensations in Kyrgyzstan. The Head of the Public Health Department, Ainura Akmatova, announced at a briefing.

According to her, all health workers were paid 200,000 soms.

She also noted that as of today the families of 21 doctors, who have died from coronavirus infection, were paid 1 million soms each.
