Alexander Lukashenko allocates 70 ares of land to Bakiyev
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has allocated to the former head of Kyrgyzstan, Kurmanbek Bakiyev, who fled to Minsk after the April events in 2010, two land plots with a total area of 70 ares in the neighborhood of his residence on the Minsk Sea. TUT.BY media outlet reports with reference to the data of the Unified State Register of Real Estate.
It is clarified that Kurmanbek Bakiyev was given a land plot of 45 ares on the Minsk Sea for lifetime inheritable possession not far from the residence of the president Zaslavl-2. Its intended use is maintenance of a personal subsidiary farm, and an adjacent land plot of 25 ares for construction and maintenance of a residential building.
The Bakiyevs also own a stake in the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation, cottages near Minsk and land in the capital.
The courts of Kyrgyzstan convicted Kurmanbek Bakiyev and his relatives within the previously initiated by the Prosecutor General’s Office criminal cases on numerous facts of serious and especially serious crimes, including the events on April 7, 2010, murders, corruption and raider seizure of another’s property.
All the accused are currently wanted.
