The former director of Tazalyk municipal enterprise, Talantbek Kazakbaev, was detained in Bishkek. Press service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Talantbek Kazakbaev was detained on the fact of appropriation and embezzlement of the entrusted property of the enterprise.

«In 2019, Tazalyk acquired fuel and lubricants in the form of fuel coupons for over 84 million soms to carry out its activities. The coupons must be handed over to the materially responsible persons on the invoices. However, Talantbek Kazakbaev, together with the chief accountant and operators illegally appropriated and wasted the fuel coupons intended for Tazalyk ME in Bishkek,» the SCNS said.

The state committee explained that in 2019 the facts of the use of fuel coupons of Tazalyk in Chui and Talas regions for 30,530 liters have been registered. Fuel was filled in in the amount of more than 1 million soms, while the activities of the enterprise are limited to Bishkek.

«According to the audit act of the Accounts Chamber, the amount of cached fuel coupons outside the city of Bishkek for 2019 reached 1,066,100 soms. The materials have been registered under the Article «Appropriation or embezzlement of entrusted property» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic,» the SCNS reports.
