Deputies of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan considered in the second and third readings the bill «On manipulation of information.»

Despite the indignation of the public and some deputies, as well as lawyers and experts, the Parliament voted for the scandalous amendments by a majority of votes.

At least 79 deputies voted for it, 10 — against.

Earlier, lawyers of Adilet Legal Clinic and media experts noted that the bill is discriminatory and, if adopted, will not protect, but violate the constitutional rights of citizens.

Deputy Gulshat Asylbaevа was urged to withdraw the scandalous initiative. She replied that it was «the most wonderful bill.»
