The Republican Emergency Response Center will consider introduction of a state of emergency. The Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Madamin Karataev told today at a briefing.

According to him, a very alarming epidemiological situation has developed in Bishkek and Osh — the majority of people infected with coronavirus are in two capitals. The number of infected is growing daily.

At least 3,954 cases of COVID-19 infection were registered in Kyrgyzstan over the entire period, including 648 among physicians. About 2,112 people have been discharged from hospitals during this time after recovery, 43 people have died.
