Markets in Kara-Balta city, Zhaiyl district of Kyrgyzstan, will be closed weekly on Monday and Thursday for sanitary treatment. Press service of the City Hall reported.

Such measures are being taken to prevent further spread of coronavirus in the city and to ensure sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population.

To date, 98 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Zhaiyl district.
