Zero rate on import of certain commodity items into the territory of Kyrgyzstan was extended until the end of the year. The Information Support Department of the Government Office of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The list of exemptions includes animal products, animal feed, pharmaceutical and chemical products, root vegetables, equipment and mechanical devices for industry, spare parts for vehicles.

«These are strategically necessary goods and raw materials that are not produced in Kyrgyzstan. Lowering of the rates of import customs duties and extension of the grace period will strengthen the competitiveness of the republic’s enterprises in the agricultural, industrial and pharmaceutical sectors, their competitiveness and will contribute to their further development,» the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan stressed.
