Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 6.3 million people globally
The number of people infected with novel coronavirus has grown by 211,261 globally. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 6,378,239 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (1,831,821), Brazil (555,383), Russia (423,186), the UK (279,392), Spain (239,932), Italy (233,515) and India (207,191).
Coronavirus cases have been reported in 188 countries.
As of today, the number of people who recovered from coronavirus exceeds 2,700,000 people. During the day, the figure grew by 33, 500 people.
At least 380,250 people died from the virus (growth by 4,696 people for a day), including 106,180 people — in the USA, 39,452 — in the UK, 33,530— in Italy, 31,199 — in Brazil, and 28,943— in France.
At least 1,871 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 11,571 cases — in Kazakhstan, 3,760 — in Uzbekistan, 4,100 — in Tajikistan.
