Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 6.2 million people globally
The number of people infected with novel coronavirus has grown by 99,214 globally. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 6,266,192 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (1,811,375), Brazil (526,447), Russia (414,328), the UK (277,736), Spain (239,638), Italy (233,197) and India (198,370).
Coronavirus cases have been reported in 188 countries.
As of today, the number of people who recovered from coronavirus is close to 2,700,000 people. During the day, the figure grew by 54,679 people.
At least 375,554 people died from the virus (growth by 3,517 people for a day), including 105,165 people — in the USA, 39,127 — in the UK, 33,475— in Italy, 29,937 — in Brazil, and 28,836— in France.
At least 1,845 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 11,308 cases — in Kazakhstan, 3,702 — in Uzbekistan, 4,013 — in Tajikistan.
