The Committee on Constitutional Legislation, Legal Issues and Regulations of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan did not support the draft law on lowering the threshold for passage to Parliament to five percent. The decision was made today at a meeting.

Only two out of 14 deputies supported the initiative. The rest consider lowering the threshold from 9 to 7 percent sufficient.

Note, the bill on reducing the threshold to seven percent was adopted in the first reading.
