Quarantine is a radical measure that has a good effect in preventing coronavirus infection. The Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbaev told at a briefing today.

According to him, spatial separation and distancing help prevent many cases of the disease.

«If there is a new wave of the virus and it is massive, use of quarantine and observational measures is a necessity. However, as of today, the epidemiological situation is such that it is too early to talk about a new quarantine,» Nurbolot Usenbaev said.

In total, 695 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Kyrgyzstan.
