An activist of the Ukrainian Community in Kyrgyzstan was attacked last night in Uch-Korgon village, Kadamdzhai district. Internal Affairs Department of Batken region reports.

Unknown masked men broke into the house and beat Alexander Lupshai. The attackers demanded money. «His wife ran out of the house and started calling for help, the criminals managed to flee,» the press service said.

The fact was registered, pre-trial proceedings under Article 202 «Robbery» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic have been launched. The suspects in the attack are wanted.
