Cost of inpatient treatment of a patient with COVID-19 is from 8,000 to 120,000 soms in Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Health reported.

According to the ministry, the cost of treatment depends on the severity.

«The cost includes expenses for medicines, hospital stay, medical products, research and analyzes,» the ministry said.

During a briefing, Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbaev said that they have not yet calculated the cost of treatment of patients with coronavirus, but it is equal to the costs in Uzbekistan, where it is $ 3,000 per COVID-19 patient.

There are 656 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan as of today.
